Cornerview Charolais is proud to belong to a group of forward-thinking Ontario
Charolais breeders who got together to form the Uppin' the Ante Breeders Group. Our main
agenda was to organize an annual sale of handpicked, quality females in Ontario.
Cornerview Charolais will once again offer topnotch females in the third annual Uppin' the Ante sale taking place on September 26 at Gold-Bar Livestock in Guelph, ON.
We are happy to present some great females in this year's sale.
Description/Footnotes: A Rio daughter you don't want to miss. Rios have really worked for us — I'd like to have more, but decided to sacrifice 23P for the sale. Notable Rios from Cornerview can be found at Ferme Palerme, Quebec, and here at Gold-Bar. A high-selling Rio granddaughter was purchased at last year's UTA by Sparrow Farms. 23P is bred to Sparrows Coach. This has great potential — the RAWF 2008 Champion Bull was sired by Coach and guess what? His dam is a Rio!

Description/Footnotes: This is a special offering from Cornerview — our first red factor female to be sold! Whirlwind 13W is part of our showstring this year. Her mom and grandma are the foundation of our red herd. It is a family of very attractive, correct, moderate-framed females with superior maternal traits. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to add some good red genetics to your herd.

Description/Footnote: We are so impressed with our Sparrows Coach offspring. The first crop of bulls sold like hotcakes and the yearling heifers are the kind of females to build a program on. They're thick but feminine with good hair, sound feet and legs and good temperaments. Cornerview 38U is our of Coach and a promising young female in our herd. She will make an excellent cow.

Description/Footnote: Unity is a tough one to part with. She's fancy-fronted yet thick and broody with a good disposition — typical of the Sparrows Coach daughters. She's sure to be a top producer beginning with her first calf next spring.
